It’s officially spooky season and the Innovation Depot is wasting no time getting into the Halloween spirit! They are hosting their first ever “Tech or Treat” event on Thursday, October 28 from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public – what better way to kick off Hallo-weekend?!

Tech or Treat is an exciting new event meant to introduce Innovation Depot and its member companies to individuals from across the Birmingham area. From 3:30 to 5 p.m. several member companies will open their doors to trick-or-treaters inside The Depot’s 140,000 square foot building located at 1500 1st Ave N in downtown Birmingham. There will also be creative Halloween activities for children to participate in. From 5 to 6 p.m. The Depot will serve light refreshments in the building’s atrium and feature a live DJ!

“We’re very excited to host this new Halloween event,” said Drew Honeycutt, CEO. “Our hope is that it will become an experience the community looks forward to every fall.”

Although masks are not required, The Depot asks that unvaccinated individuals please wear them while inside the building and encourages parents to make the best choice for their families!

“This is a great opportunity for our organization to showcase the work we do in the Birmingham
community,” said Brit Blalock, Director of Marketing. “Plus, folks from all across the area will get the chance to become more familiar with the 110+ companies housed within our walls.”

You don’t want to miss out on this fun event – see you there!
